Today I got to take pictures of one of my favorite little models, Abby. Abby is a little diva who just turned 2. She loves makeup and all things girly, so I thought the perfect idea for a photoshoot would be to put her in a tutu. While shopping for tulle for the tutu, I found the purple boa. By far, one of the funniest shoots I’ve ever done.
As soon as we put the tutu on her she climbed onto the couch and started posing. Told you. D-I-V-A.
The lipstick was a HUGE hit.
Abby would constantly come sit in my lap. The next two pictures are me holding the camera out and snapping what I could. Sometimes photographers have to be flexible…
Yes, everyone got lipsticked. Even the dog.
Changing Clifford’s diaper.
Today I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Angie and her husband Matt. We have been battling the weather for the past week, and we finally decided to just do a quick shoot indoors before the maternity shoot turned into a newborn shoot 🙂
Thanks Angie and Matt!
Today I got to experience a true Italian birthday. My friend Sonja’s grandfather turned 91, and I got to document the occasion. This family is full of life…from the youngest to the oldest. It truly was an honor being there. I had a blast!
Happy Birthday Poppie!
I’ve been itching to take pictures of my neighbor, Taylor, for awhile now. This girl always looks cute…seriously. So I got her out of bed for an early morning shoot in the rain.
This weekend I travelled up to Maryland with my neighbor to do my very first maternity session with my friend, Jenn. Jenn recruited me 3 years ago to intern at Chapel Valley Landscape Company for that summer…the summer where I met my husband! It was so much fun catching up with her, and photographing her adorable belly 🙂
Thanks Jenn and Patt 🙂
So today I asked my neighbor, Sonja if she wanted to go to Hobby Lobby with me to buy some yarn (I’ve learned to crochet!). She said no, because she had company coming over. After further investigation I found out it was her friends that had just had a baby in Sept. What?! A baby?! So what do I do? Invite myself over for a very impromtu photo shoot. Anna has so much personality, talking away and making the cutest faces! This was my first baby shoot with props. Some of them are a little noisy, but I think they turned out nice 🙂
Today I had the pleasure of photographing the ‘McEngland’ family in downtown Knoxville. I’ve known Katy for awhile, but had never met her adorable son, Declan. I had seen pictures and COULD NOT WAIT to get my lens on those chubby cheeks!
What awesome parents…not making Declan feel bad for crying. This should be a Christmas card!
